The Kan-Du Clinic
Trying to get to the next level, but are
stuck on one area?
Having a special problem?
Ready to give up and buy another horse?
We can help
The Kan-Du clinic
is a special training session for you and your horse. This one hour session
will evaluate, educate, communicate, and demonstrate to you with your horse
the best method to accomplish the requested task.
No matter what
discipline, everyone has gone through the frustration of accomplishing that
next step. Whether it is correct leads, flying changes, collection,
balance, piaffe, or tempi changes. From simple to difficult, let us help
you. Our trainer specializes in succeeding with positive gentle, training
techniques to provide horse and rider the harmony they desire to accomplish
anything.
How it works
- The first fifteen minutes
is designed to evaluate your ability at performing a specific task, paying
special attention to the area that needs work. Communication skills
are developed between trainer, rider and horse.
- The next half hour is a
commentary and demonstration of the trainer performing the specific
task on your horse. By demonstrating the best practice
techniques with a continuous commentary explaining every detail for
you to develop a good communication between you and your horse and
succeed at your objective.
- The last fifteen minutes is
a lesson that will walk you step by step on accomplishing the task.
You will be able to see and feel the difference.
- Times may vary depending
upon skill or training level.
- Our stable or yours, let us
help you to succeed.
Recommendations
- Please bring your family,
friends, and equestrians. The more the better, especially anyone who
will take notes. Recording devices are acceptable. A lot of
information will be covered in this clinic session and the more eyes
and ears, the better. All we ask is that no shouting, loud noises or
interruptions occur, and safety be observed at all times. Questions
may be asked after the session.
- If you are coming to
Rolling Hills Stable, please arrive early. We would like you mounted
and warmed up before the session starts. This is to give the maximum
benefit for horse and rider.
- If the clinic is to be held
at your training facilities a traveling fee will be charged. This will
vary upon distance. We suggest that multiple rider sessions be
arranged to help defer traveling costs.
